1.3 The Day

Marie worked her butt off for this. A nice little area for their ceremony. All Marie could do for now though, was Fantasize. Today was actually the day, but the ceremony wasn’t going to happen until later that afternoon. Marie just hoped that she had saved enough for them to Honeymoon in a new place- Vivian, the elderly lady, said it was something like.. Gold falls? No, no. Granite falls. Right. She hadn’t told Siobhan of her plans, but she did tell her to take time off. Marie was staring at the arch when she heard Siobhan curse- loudly. “Siobhan, dear? Whats the issue?” “The toilet broke! Plumming piece of plum!” Siobhan had grown very colorful with her vocabulary- but it was no surprise, they were both stressed. Marie sighed, heading in to get the “plumming piece of plum” toilet repaired.  She was getting married today, to the most beautiful girl she had ever known- Even with her anxiety induced cursing- which was adorable, to Marie. She finished the last twist of the wrench, “There we go, Siobhan.” a muffled thank you came from the shower. They had both been trying to keep from seeing each other, but Marie was ready to get married already. She leaned against the wall, looking up. “Are you  excited, Siobhan?” Siobhan grinned from inside the shower. “I can’t wait to officially spend the rest of my life with you as Mrs. Oullette.” She stated, turning the water off. “Shoo, shoo!” she ordered, before climbing out of the shower when she was sure Marie had left. They had both agreed that it wasnt going to be anything fancy- in fact, they weren’t going to even rent dresses- but Marie said she had something planned for afterwards..02-24-17_8-31-19 PM.png “Siobhan, I’ve never met anyone like you- and I’m excited at the prospect of spending the rest of my life with you. There’s no one I’d rather have by my side in all honesty, and the fact that you want to marry me makes me feel like the luckiest girl on Sim. It’s been almost a year now since we met, And today is the day we make it official. I’ll be with you, in sickness and in health, through thick and thin. Be it we stay broke,  or live luxuriously- I will never leave you for someone else.” Siobhan was nearly in tears- Emotional brides anyone? They exchanged rings and Marie dip-kissed Siobhan- Who is now Mrs. Siobhan Oullette. “So, Mrs. Oullette, ready for our honeymoon?” Siobhan nodded, smiling. “I am.” “Good. your bags are already packed, and the plane leaves in an hour.” “Bags? Plane? Are you going to tell me what this is about?” Marie shook her head. “It’s a surprise to the last minute.” “Alright, then i guess we better start heading out.”
